The hottest chili pepper is the Carolina Reaper, originally called Don Pedrito, and grown in South Carolina.
To make this spicy cured cheese, a mixture of varieties of the world's hottest chili peppers is used, including Pepper X, Carolina Reaper, Cayenne or Chipotle. The maturation of La Antigua Picantón is between 2 and 6 months, the ideal point for the flavour to be fully balanced, with an intense itching but slowed down by pure sheep's milk during maturation.
All ingredients are natural and without any trace, following our philosophy of maintaining an optimal product.
Of course, if you google the RAE definition of cheese, the Picantón meets the requirements of a traditionally made cheese, but with the addition of an explosive flavour, for all those who love spicy food and great experiences.
